Imposter IO might look a little familiar on the surface because the inspiration for it comes from the popular game, Among Us, which took the internet by storm only a few years ago. We say inspired because while it may share a similar look; it is definitely not the same game. Where Among Us is reminiscent of a mystery novel, Imposter IO feels more like a gunfight at the O.K. corral.
Instead of players being separated into two separate groups (example: crewmates and imposters), everyone’s the same. You are all fighting against an alien and essentially each other. The goal is to survive because if you manage to do that, then you will come out victorious. However, this game isn’t just you are using all the brawn. It’s necessary to use your mind. Best thing to do is find that perfect balance.
Everyone comes equipped with a weapon and with the ability to customize their player character. There are boxes to collect which will give you more energy, so be quick to grab those before your opponent’s get to them. In order to control your player's character, use your mouse. This will let you to move around. Click the left mouse button if you want to kill someone. Once you do that, all your enemies will start dropping like flies!
If you prefer a game where you let your weapon do most or all of the talking, then Imposter IO is truly the game for you. Sure, you may find yourself on the receiving end of someone else’s weapon more than once, but the more you play, the better you will become. Someday soon you will be at the top of the leaderboard, your name highlighted by the blood of all your enemies that dared cross your path.
