Spongebob Squarepants is an animated show that has been airing on Nickelodeon since May 1999. It is currently in its 13th season and really shows no sign of stopping. Since Spongebob aired its first episode, there have been several movies featuring this famous sponge as well as spinoffs of the main show. There is even a musical if you can believe it.

This show is about a sponge named Spongebob Squarepants who lives in an underwater town called Bikini Bottom. Some characters that also show up in the show are Patrick Star, Sandy Cheeks, Mr. Krabs, Squidward Tentacles, and Plankton. All of these characters get into shenanigans and adventures with Spongebob.

Besides movies, musicals, and other TV shows, Spongebob has also been featured in several video games, some of which are available online for free to play. One such game that fits this criteria, is Spongebob Runner. In Spongebob Runner, you run around in a circle on SpongeBob’s pineapple home. While you are running, you will see a bunch of Plankton’s coming towards your home. Their goal is to destroy it. What you have to do is get in their way before they hit your home.

This is a pretty simple game that might make you feel dizzy at some points since you are running around and around in a circle. However, it is pretty addicting and fun to try to see how well you can protect SpongeBob’s home from those pesky Plankton’s that are coming towards his pineapple home, intent on destroying it for no other reason except that’s what Plankton does.

Good thing in the show there is only one Plankton running around, trying to get the Krabby Patty secret formula. Can you imagine if there were more than one? There would be no way Mr. Krabs could keep it safe in that case!
